Edward Cason Newton, 34, of Lumberton, died Friday, September 26, 2008.
Edward was a lifelong residence of the area and was a construction worker.
He is survived by his wife, Rikki Newton of Lumberton; daughters, Ruby and Skylar Newton of Lumberton; father and mother, Dale and Linda Newton of Bridge City; brothers, Christopher Dale Newton, Charles Everett Newton, Glenn Ellis Jones, Jr., Timothy Shane Newton, and Jerry Glenn Newton all of Lumberton; father-in-law, James Neil Cannon and wife Donna Kay of Shelbyville, Texas; mother-in-law, Rebecca Werner and husband Wayne of Lumberton; brother-in-law, Taylor Cannon; and sisters-in-law, Jessica Cannon and Crystal Cannon.
Edward is preceded in death by his sister, Ruby Ann Sutton.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at Broussard’s Mortuary, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee with a 2:00 P.M. burial at Cannon Cemetery in Shelbyville, Texas. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday, September 29, 2008 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
