Ralph Wayne Burkett, 74, of Winnie died September 24, 2008.
A native of High Island, Ralph graduated from High Island High School and joined the Air Force for four years later on he then traveled around the area working as a pipe fitter.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s in Winnie. A gathering of family and friends will be from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Ralph is survived by his brother, Norman Burkett and his wife, Janice of Baytown; nieces and nephews, Janie Shirley, Kristi Sandel, Clint Wilson, and Kelly Bud. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Burkett; mother, Jessie W. Kimble; dad, Herman L. Kimble and nephew, Billy W. Burkett.
