Rody Richardson Sr. 69, of Fairmont, Texas passed away with his family by his side at St. Christus Hospital in Jasper.
Funeral services were 10:00 AM Thursday, September 11, 2008 in the chapel of Broussard’s in Nederland with Pastor Forest “Bo” Owens officiating. Interment will be held at 2:00PM Friday, September 26, 2008 in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of the family and friends was held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at the mortuary.
Rody was a native of Abbeville, Louisiana and lived the last ten years in the community of Fairmont, Texas. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Rody is survived by his wife Barbara Richardson of Fairmont; daughters, Bonny Trahan and husband Ed of Lumberton, Ronda Anderson and husband Troy of Groves; son, Rody Richardson Jr. and wife Sheila of Kountze; brother, Jerry Richardson of Port Arthur; sister, Rachel Ann Critchley of Windham, Maine; grandchildren, Brett and wife Nichole, Garrett, and Amanda; great granddaughter of the way, Bailey Ashlynn; and many other family and friends.
