Oh, how sad for us......So many wonderful memories of our precious Sister Johnson............her willingness to take time from her busy, busy schedule as a wife and Mom to teach our SS classes at Emmanuel Gospel Church. What a beautiful example of a true Christian, loving Mother and true friend. I still remember being invited to spend Sunday afternoons at the Johnson home.........Sis. Johnson's wonderful meatloaf for lunch and the tasty peanut butter sandwiches and glass of cold milk before returning for the evening service at the church............and then throw in "slumber parties".........don't know where she got all her patience. Remember the tomato "patches" into which we would go (with a salt shaker in hand) and pick those luscious, wonderful red tomatoes and just eat them while in the "patch".........The trips out to the home on Erie Street (down near the canal)........ALWAYS a big smile on her face..........I shall always love her. She taught us so many lessons! I also love her children...........may God be near and dear to you. Wish there was a way to attent Sis. Johnson's service. Since there is not, my love to each of you. My e-mail address is on this page and my address (physical) is 1003 Morningside Lane; Allen, Texas 75002 and our phone is 972.396.0016 and I would absolutely love to hear from any or all of you, my special friends. It will be great when we are all in heaven and there will be no time limits on our "visiting"...........no sickness, no pain, no parting.............I look forward to it. My love to you all. To all of my aunts and uncles I want you to know what your mama meant to me and because of her what you all mean to me. My dear sweet granny, words cannot express how much you will be missed. You were one of the most important women in my life and without your influence, teaching, leading by example, and praying. I don't know if I would be the same person I am today. I will never forget the times we shared late at night laying in bed answering crossword puzzles with the smell of peanut butter in the air and the seemingly never ending prayers...my knees hurt by the time you were through Granny, but I am so thankful now for all the time you invested into each one of us. You raised a great bunch of children and they have done you proud, they have each played an important part in my life since my mama was taken so long ago but you were the one that kept the peace between a family torn apart and the family that stood strong and for that I am forever grateful. Uncle Neil, Uncle Robert, Uncle Larry, Aunt Merle, Aunt Marie, and mom you are an AMAZING bunch of people with such strong unique qualities, I am so proud to say that I have some of the same blood running through my veins. Thank you for taking care of Granny all of these years, she lived a great long wonderful life and I know she is finally home with her Jesus as she has wanted to be for oh so long. I am certain that upon arriving at the pearly gates of heaven, your mama, my Granny heard, "WELL DONE my good and faithful servant, welcome home!"

Be at peace and I Love you guys,
Rhonda
