Our sailing world is missing one of our members today. However he is where we all want to go for "Fair Winds and Smooth Sailing". He will have a whole new world to sail.

Daddy,
Back when I was born I am positive that you and Momma felt blessed for me to be your daughter, but I feel as though I am the one who was truly blessed to have you as my daddy. No matter what I did or how mad I made you, you always stood behind me. You were always there to set me straight when I was going wrong and there to lift me up when I was down, even when I was little and sleeping in the bottom of the boat because I was so seasick, you were there making sure nothing bad happened to me. I know you are in a better place and I will see you again one day and when I do just remember I plan on curling up next to you on the floor to watch tv just as I did when I was a little girl. You make sure to tell Momma Ruby and Paw Pete to have the potatoes ready to make me some french fries. I Love You with all my Heart daddy and will miss you greatly.

Parrain,
I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to tell you how much I love you and how glad I was to have you as a godfather.
I know Mama Ruby and PaPete are so glad to have you with them. I know there is a huge gathering in Heaven tonight and lots of laughing going around. I'll never forget you and will think of you often. I picture you now sailing around enjoying peaceful bliss. I love you and will see you again one day. Save a seat on the sailboat for me; just tell Shawn to scoot it over.
