Daniel “Danny” Nelson Sellers, 51, of Beaumont, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2008 at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston after a courageous battle with cancer.
A native and lifelong resident of the Beaumont area, Danny was a maintenance planner and with BASF for thirty years.
Survivors include his father, Dale Sellers and step-mother, Phyllis Sellers of Spurger; wife, Cyndi Collins Sellers of Beaumont; daughter, Meredith Leigh Sellers; step-daughter, Collin Sheldon; sister, Donna Kersh and her husband Tim of West Columbia, Susan Blanton of Nederland and Lori Hudgins and her husband Sammy of Nederland; brother, Barry Sellers and his wife Sharon of Kountze; step-brothers, Alan McKee and his wife Sherry of Silsbee and Randy McKee and his wife Krissie of Houston; father-in-law, George Collins and mother-in-law, Shirley Collins of Beaumont; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
His beloved mother, Dixie Lorraine Sellers preceded him in death.
Danny is now home with our Lord and Savior. In Danny’s death as in his life, he exhibited great courage, character and unselfish love.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Calvary Baptist Church in Beaumont with burial to follow at Stacy Cemetery in Devers under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Danny’s beautiful life will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at the Mortuary.
