Emma Lee Merriman — In Loving Memory

Emma Lee Merriman, 86, of Lumberton, died Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at Greenview Nursing Home in Waco.

A native and lifelong resident of the Beaumont area, Mrs. Merriman was a retired cashier with Morris Foods.

Survivors include her son, David Merriman and his wife Cookie of Lumberton; daughter, Elizabeth Merriman of Bridge City; sister, Ora Mae Knight of Nederland; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and fourteen great great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 7, 2008 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

Mammaw you will surely be missed.
Though Anthony only got to visit with you over the last few years he remembers you as a child growing up. And as for me I remember your beautiful garden that we took long walks through when I was just a little girl. That's the place we would go together when you wanted the sunshine to dry my hair after you washed it for me!!!
