the man was literally a saint. He was the only one who believed in me out of my whole family. We are talking about my blood family as well.He did have the privelage of seeing me obtain four years clean and sober and changing my life. I loved this man with all my heart. He instilled strong morals and ethics in me which to this day i hold dearly. Its a shame my pathetic self absorbed brother Michael never had the chance to realize what this great man did for us.His spirit will live in me until the day i perish...and far beyond.

Carol, I never got to know Joel as well as I would like, but I know enough about him to know he was a great person. And that he loved you. And that you loved him. What else is there in life? Keep on trucking, Love. You have a lot to live for and that's the way Joel would have wanted it.
