June Wells Ragan, 48, of Beaumont, passed away Friday, August 22, 2008 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

A Memorial service will be held at Crossroads Fellowship Church in Nederland at 6:00PM on Tuesday, August 26, 2008, with Reverend Carl Durden officiating.

June was born at Camp Pendleton, California and lived in Beaumont for the last twelve years. She was an advocate for Domestic Violence in Beaumont.

June is survived by her daughters, Nicole Seymour and husband Kevin of Port Neches, Kira Netherland of Port Neches; son, Joshua Netherland of Beaumont; grandchildren, Brittan, Chelsea, Jared, Hailey, Isabella, and Josalyn; father, Harry Wells and wife Sue; sister, Sharon Dye; and many other family and friends.

My Mom was the greatest woman I have ever known. She is and always will be my HERO! I will truly miss her, but I know she wants us to be strong and stick together, so that is what we will do until we can all be together again.

JUNE ! What a beautiful woman she was, inside and out. I served on panel of Bridges To Life with her, and her life story touched so many hearts. She left an impact on all that knew her. I am blessed to have known her.
