Patricia... My heart was hurting for you when I heard the news about your mom. I remember the stories you told about your mom and how much love and respect you have for her. I wish there were some magic words to say to help take away the heartache.... I know there's not. When I lost my mom, I found it just took time, talking and memories.
Please know how much I love you and wish this had never happened........ Deb

I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Zapf. I first met her at the Handlebar and Grill when I lived and worked in Port Arthur. I would meet friends there for lunch and she was the sweetest, kindest, most beautiful person I had ever met, she reminded me so much of my Grandmother. I wish I had known, I surely would have come in for the funeral. Please accept my sympathy and always remember what a beautiful person she was. Marcia and John

Hazel was an inspiration to us as well as a joy to be around. She came to work at Wicks 'N Sticks in Central Mall and came into our hearts that same day. Our entire family loved her and will always remember what a dear lady she was to us. Our prayers are with your family.

Richard and Janet,
You and your family are in mine and Karen's thoughts and prayers. I did not know your mother well at all, Richard, but was impressed with her poise and dignity the few times that I saw and met her. May God bless and comfort you during the days ahead.
