Gregg Bowie, 49, of Port Neches passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Funeral service will be 3:00 pm Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Pastor David Birdsong officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of the family and friends will be from 5:00pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday at the mortuary.
Gregg was a native of Port Arthur and live in Port Neches all of his life. He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Bowie and sister Regina Strickland Theroit. Gregg was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Port Neches. He was a great and loving husband, Daddy, son, and brother. Gregg loved hunting, fishing, and was a Pilot.
Gregg is survived by his high school sweet heart and wife of twenty three years, Ann Bowie of Port Neches; sons, Jeremy Gregg Bowie and Joshua Gabriel Bowie of Port Neches; parents, Ray and Jeannene Strickland of Port Neches; sister, Kim Bowie Stone and husband Ricky of Port Neches; half sister, Tonya Alexander; brother, Jerry Strickland and wife Erica of Montana; several nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.
