Howard ‘Bubba’ Stark, 72, of Nederland died Monday, August 11, 2008 peacefully at his home surrounded by his wife and daughters. A lifetime resident of Nederland, Mr. Stark was a salesman for Coburn’s Supply for 25 years. He played football at Nederland High School and graduated in 1954. Mr. Stark was an avid golfer and enjoyed bass fishing.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Rev. Donald Winfrey and Rev. Mark Snodgrass officiating. Inetrment will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Broussard's in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 pm Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at the mortuary.
Bubba is survived by his wife, Nina Stark of Nederland; daughters, Shari Stark and Aundria Stark both of Nederland; the sunshine of his life, his granddaughter, Sydney Morris of Nederland; brother, Billy Van Stark of Loganville, Georgia and sister, Edna Earle Townsend of Texas; a special nephew, Mike Stark of Olympia, Washington and a host of other relatives and friends.
