Mary Bearden, 63 years, of Port Arthur, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
She was born September 28, 1940 in Hull, East Yorkshire, England and had lived in the Jefferson County area some twenty-one years. She was retired from the tugboat industry, where she served aboard the boat as a cook.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2004 at Broussard’s Chapel, 505 12th. Street, Nederland with Brother Wil Agy officiating. Entombment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July14, 2004 at the Mortuary.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Bearden of Port Arthur; one son, Gary Dodgson of Hull, East Yorkshire, England. Also surviving are three brothers, William Carlton Webster, Herbert Webster, and Allen Webster all of East Yorkshire, England and three sisters, Eva Bilton, Jean Clark, and Maring Brentano of East Yorkshire, England; and nine step-children.
