Robert G. Baker, 77, of Saratoga, TX passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday,, August 3, 2008 Broussard’s in Nederland. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens in Nederland. A gathering of the family and friends will be from 5:00pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday at the mortuary.
Robert was a native of Joppa, TX, formerly of Nederland and lived in Saratoga. He retired from Quantam in 1992 and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Nederland.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Baker of Saratoga; daughters, Sally Smith and husband Dwayne of Port Neches, Patty Harris and husband David of Nederland; sons, Danny Baker and wife Tricia of Fannett, Benny Baker and wife Phyllis of Fannett; grandchildren, Leslie Broussard and husband Patrick, Lauren Knight and husband David, Brad Smith, and Jacob Harris; great-grandchildren, Matt and Camryn; three brothers, five sisters; and many other family and friends.
Memorial Contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church in Nederland or Groves.
