Hello, David well Achanti I got the Christmas tree this morining, she was mad I didnt go to the walmart you quys would always go to. We picked a tree and some ormenents. We were laughing about how you and I faught over getting christmas lights for outside. I told you no and next day I come home from work the whole apt was lit up. I wanted to let you no Ricky and ME missed you so much .We had a candle burning and I and wanted you to that had you in my arm holding you and praying that you are happy and feel must better being with my mom , my grandmother, and your father and grandfather and your uncle charle that you cared a lots about . David Wayne I talked to you everyday on the phone and you never showed being depressed . All you would say is that you hated Houston and that you wanted to move to Beaumont and i would tell you to come on and there would be a job waiting on you . And you seem so happy to have your sons all in your life again and to get to meet your grandson Zachary and Ryan Hendon . Even those they only seen you at the beach they had a great time with there pawpaw David playing with the water gun they no who he was and will be missed so bad. And i miss you so bad I wait wishing the phone would ring and you would say what you doing . But I just sit have with my heart broken with a big part of it missing . I just wish you would have talked to me about what was going on in your mind but all you would do is start to say something and then you would say to me never mine and i would say what and you would say I care to much about you and i dont want to get you in to anything and i would say what and you would say nothing . And so we would go fishing are just sit around talking to my family and you would say how happy you was being with us all . You would look at my sister and say what are you cooking today and she would say you what you wanted and you would ask her for gumbo so she would go in there and cook it for you and fix you some to take home with you after you had ate about three bowls of it and you was so happy to have it and be with a big smile on your face . I no you and my mother is up there talking and watching over me and your son and grandsons . I thing when me and Ricky looks at Zachary we see David Wayne Hendon Jr. all over . I always told David that Zachary was him made over lefted and all . So thank you David for the great Son we had together . One thing me and Pam will always have is a part of you is our boys and other grand kids that I wish you would be here with them . You will all ways be in my heart and is missed very much .I know god has taken all your trouble and pain away . I just dont understand why you would not open up and tell me what was in your mind so i one of us would have helped you because you knew you was loved by your sons and me . I had the priviledge of growing up with David Wayne. Can't remember a time when he and I did not make some kind of mischief that normally landed us in trouble. He had a smile as big as Texas, a sense of humor to match, and was truly a warm, caring person who loved his family very much. I was deeply saddened to learn that our David was taken from us. To all of his family, you are in my thoughts and prayers as you each try to cope with your loss.

David Wayne always found a way to make me laugh, when he was around, he really was a joy. When I was younger I always knew he was around when I would come home from school and see a big truck parked on the side of my house, or when a light in my house was finally working or the sink stopped leaking because he was always there to help my mom fix things. He was really a caring, loving, and just in all a great person to have in my life or anyone’s life. I will never forget when we all lived together and he would come home from work and get right next to me, and ask me if I like the smell of his new cologne which smelled like a mix of oil and gas. Trust me it was a smell I will never forget. The only thing that I wish is that he would have realized how many people truly loved and will always love him for who he was. His vision and big goofy laugh will carry on in my head forever. I just wish I could see him and hear that goofy laugh one more time. We will always love him and miss him very much.

I'm so sorry for your loss; I wish David had turned to someone during this difficult time so he would realize that we all go through troubled times. Usually when tomorrow comes the problems of oday don't seem so overwhelming.

David has been a part of this family for the last 25 yrs or more. He was always there to lend a helping hand when needed and never asked for anything in return. His happy go lucky personality and his winning ways with all the kids in the family will truly be missed. I know that Jan, the boys and myself will miss him dearly.
He wasn't just my brother in-law, he was my friend and I am truly sorry I wasn't there for him when he needed someone the most.
