My granddad was the best. I remember how he used to aggravate me about eating his "souce meat"! How he used to always say "ooh wee,sow strike a match"! He used to tell me he would poke my eye out and spit in it. Grown up and looking back at those sayings now mean so much. I didnt see my granddad like I probably should have. And I didn't call him like I should have. And I feel so sad because I loved him very much and I dont havr the oppertunity to tell him now. I can only hope that he knew how much I did love him. My childhood for the first 5 years of my life were spent with daily just about. Now those memories are more treasured than they were before. I will miss him dearly. But knowing he is with Meme and my dad now is comforting. I've realized that we need to tell all the people we love everyday how much they mean to us and that if we cant always be there, they are always with us in our hearts. Thank you Uncle Gerald and Aunt peggy for taking care of Grandaddy. I love you all.

I am saddened at Elvin's passing. I am a first cousin, and he taught me how to plow back in the forties. I haven't seen him in a while. We will always remember him.
