She and Ray have lived many places; Delhi, Louisiana; Snyder, Texas; Maracaibo, Venezuela, South America; McAllen, Texas; Portland, Texas; and Beaumont.

Fay was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Al Adams, Willie Adams, Nell Hall, Ethel May Howell, Ida Bell Golibart, Charles Adams and Buck Adams.

Fay is survived by her loving husband of fifty-nine years, Ray Finley of Beaumont; her children, Bruce Finley and his wife Rita of Keller, Ken Finley and his wife Nancy of San Juan Capistrano, California and Anna Juliff and her husband Britt of College Station; six grandchildren, Eric, Jenna, Jason and his wife Kimberli and Katie Ann all of California and Kyle and Kent of College Station; sisters, Martha Bowen of Beaumont, Ruby Stevenson of Nederland and Maudie Kibodeaux of China; brother, Richard Spriggs of Sulphur, Louisiana; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

She was a den mother, drove for field trips and carpools and attended hundreds of sporting events and choir concerts. Fay also loved to sew! She made church dresses, school clothes, play clothes and costumes for Halloween and musicals. She even made smaller clothes for baby dolls and Barbies! Later, she made precious baby blankets and nap pads for her grandchildren.

I met Fay and Ray at Hunter's Creek. She was such a sweet lady. I enjoyed talking to her about places I remember when I worked in Beaumont years ago. I will miss her. I pray that her family will have God's peace in knowing all is well. I look forward to seeing her again at "Home".

I am so sorry that I can't be with you all at this very sad time. Just know that I will be thinking of you all and wishing a hugg to each of you. Aunt Fay will be missed but the family in heaven I know are happy to see her.

I attended Wesley UMC in Beaumont with Mr. and Mrs. Finley. She always had a smile and a kind word to say. I am sorry for your loss, but oh, what a glorious day in Heaven's gain!
