William Harold Latimer, born March 3, 1920 in Littlefield, Texas died Saturday, July 19, 2008 at the age of 88. A resident of the Beaumont area since 1941, he had recently moved to the Houston area to be near his only son, Kenneth and daughter-in-law, Jo.
After retiring from Bethlehem Steel in the early 80’s, he spent many hours fishing, hunting and enjoying the outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Ila Mae Latimer; two sisters, a brother; and his wife of sixty-three years, Oneita. He is survived by his son, Kenneth and his wife Jo of Houston; and a brother, Buford Ray of Citrus Heights, California.
Graveside services will be 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center, Texas under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
