Cathryn Page Scott Lopez, 50, of Groves died Sunday, July 13, 2008 at her residence in Groves.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, July 18, 2008 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Rev. Frank Hodges officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Thursday at the mortuary.
Cathryn was born in Freeport, Texas and lived in the Golden Triangle for 45 years. She graduated in 1976 from Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur. She was employed with FYE music store as the store manager. She was a proud member of the Red Hussar Alumni Association.
She was preceded in death by her mother Della Fay Scott and her father Richard Scott. Cathryn is survived by her daughter, Amanda Lopez of Port Arthur; one son, Adam Lopez of Duluth, Georgia; companion, Vincent Krantz of Groves; one sister, Christine Collazo and her husband David of Port Arthur; niece and nephew Natalie and Zachary Collazo.
Serving as pallbearers are Adam Lopez, Zachary Collazo, Vincent Krantz, Michelle Kelly, Matthew Kelly, Derek Drisdale, Anderson Nguyen, and Derek Flores.
