Martha Ineeda Woods, 91, of Nederland passed away Sunday, July 13, 2008 at her residence. A native of Tyler County, Texas, Mrs. Woods was a resident of Nederland for over 73 years and worked for the Nederland Independent School District for 28 years. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Port Neches.
Funeral service will be 10 am Thursday, July 17, 2008 at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Port Neches with Rev. Margaret Desmond officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 pm Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at the mortuary.
Mrs. Woods is survived by her sons, Harold A. Woods Jr. of Honey Island and Harold Clint Woods and wife Connie of LaBelle; daughters, Sandra McKee of Nederland and Carolyn Handley and husband James of Nederland. 15 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Andrew Woods Sr., 6 brothers, 2 half brothers and 2 sisters.
