David Sayre Rumsey, 80, of Beaumont died Monday, July 12, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital. A native of Flint Michigan, and Chemical Engineer for Dupont, Mr. Rumsey was a United States Army World War II veteran.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 N. Major Drive, Beaumont.
Survivors include his wife, Loraine Rumsey; son, David V.C. Rumsey and his wife Ruth; and daughter, Lauren Davis and her husband Mack all of Beaumont; grandchildren, Jennifer Ohman, Daniel S. Rumsey, Michael J. Rumsey, Jake Davis, Clayton Davis, and Katie Perez; great grandchildren, Joseph, Chloe, and Tyler; and sister, Helen Van Domelen.
Preceded in death by son, Stephen John Rumsey and parents, Sidney and Charles Rumsey preceded him in death.
