June White, 78, of Thicket died July 6, 2008 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital. June was born July 5, 1930 to Virgil and Vada (Smith) Rosier in Shamrock, Oklahoma. She lived most of her life in the Thicket and Saratoga area and was the caretaker for Felps Cemetery in Thicket since 1977.
She is survived by her husband of sixty years, O.B. “Buddy” White of Thicket; daughter, Ruth Thomas of Kountze; grandchildren, Jay Thomas and wife Donna of Orange, Chad Thomas of Kountze, and Haden “Tara” Thomas of Kountze; and great grandchildren, Taylor Thomas and wife Ashley, Sarah Thomas, Joseph Thomas, Amanda Thomas, Jordan Thomas, and Jake Hatt.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze with Reverend Jay Thomas and Reverend Alvin Tomlinson officiating. Burial will follow at Felps Cemetery in Thicket. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at the mortuary.
