Martha “Bunny” Newton, 55, of Beaumont died July 3, 2008. A native of Dallas and resident of Beaumont for many years, Bunny was a teacher with Beaumont Independent School District.
She is survived by her daughter, Martha Garrison Newton of Austin; and sons, John Wharton Newton IV of Austin and Stephen King Newton of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2008 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church followed by burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
