Thomas “Tommy” Bienvenue, 58 of Port Neches passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 6, 2008 in the Chapel of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of the family and friends will be from 12:00pm to 2:00 pm on Sunday at the mortuary.

Tommy was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and lived all of his life in Port Arthur. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Bienvenue and his son-in-law Danny Daigle.

Mr. Bienvenue is survived by: his daughter, Sandy Daigle of Port Neches; mother, Mae Badeaux of Port Arthur; grandson, Ryan Highlander of Port Neches; sisters, Carolyn Smith and husband Felix J. of Wildwood, Mary Holland and husband Tommy of Wildwood; brother, Richard Bienvenue and wife Debbie of Nederland; and other family and friends.

Tommy you were a very good friend of myself and
Connie LeBlanc which was my best friend for 25 yrs.
She has since past away but she also was a very good
friend of your's,and we had a lot of good parties.
No matter where Tommy saw you he would go out
of his way to come up to you,and say hello and shake
your hand.Tommy you will be missed greatly!

Tommy was a great uncle and friend to me. He was one of a kind and will be missed dearly. Tommy, you are in a much better place now, and i am glad to have been your nephew. Thanks for all the memories.

Tommy was my ex-brother in law and i can not say anything bad about him. He was a very caring person and i too loved him for his caring ways. He will be missed!!
