Eddie R. Colvin, 60 of Nederland passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Christus St. Mary’s Hospital in Port Arthur.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 5, 2008 in the chapel of Broussard’s in Nederland. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. A gathering of the family and friends will be from 4:00pm to 7:00 pm on Friday at the mortuary.
Eddie was a native of Beaumont and has lived in Nederland for most of his life. Eddie was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of Assembly of God in Nederland. Eddie retired after 40 years of service from IBEW Local 479. He was a member of South Park Lodge #1320 in Beaumont.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Nelda Colvin. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Inez Colvin of Nederland; two sons, Duane Colvin and wife Rita of Nederland, Devin Colvin and wife Margie of Beaumont; grandsons LCP Ryan L. Parker and wife Kaleana and many other family and friends.
