Blake Jackson Boswell Wiggins, 21, our beloved son and brother, died Friday, June 20, 2008 as a result of a motorcycle accident in Beaumont.
Born March 20, 1987 in Beaumont, Blake was the son of Charlie and Trisha Wiggins; brother of Shayna and Kaleigh Wiggins; and grandson of Charles and Jane Wiggins.
Blake graduated Cum Laude from West Brook High School in 2005. He attended Lamar University in 2005 and LIT in 2006, where he obtained his EMT certificate. In 2007, he completed the ITLS Basic Course, and was employed by Stat Care EMS at the time of his death. Blake enjoyed music and playing the guitar, photography, spending time with friends, and riding his motorcycle.
Blake was preceded in death by Harvey Jackson Boswell, Jr. and Louis and Bernadine Borque. He was survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at First Baptist Church Beaumont with Reverend John Burris officiating. Graveside services will follow at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 N Major Drive, Beaumont. Serving as active pallbearers are Charlie Wiggins, John King, Adam King, Charles Wiggins, Sr., Rod Carroll, Tim Hudson, Eric McDaniel, and Ken Mead. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday evening, June 23, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Mortuary.
