Rayburn A. Weeks, Sr., 67, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital.
A native of Livingston and resident of the Beaumont area for sixty-two years, Mr. Weeks was a retired office manager with JCPenny.
His parents, Alfred and Inez Brazil Weeks; and grandson, Bobby Weeks preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Margaret Weeks of Beaumont; daughters, Patti Owens and her husband Stephen of Lumberton, Donna Corbello and her husband Robert of Vidor, Adele Prichard and her husband Tommy of Sour Lake and Angela Battenfield and her husband Steve of Batson; son, Rayburn Weeks, Jr. of Beaumont; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and sister, Julia Rae Mitchell of Lumberton.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2008 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2008 at the Mortuary.
