I love the picture you printed of Larry! It is how I will always remember him--as a sweet, warm, fun-loving guy. Fun and funny. Not to mention I had a Huge Crush on him beginning I think in Mrs. Emma Belle Brown's 6th Grade Class! And it still continues to this day and will last as long as his sweet memory remains in my heart. It was a joy to know him. May God bless and comfort you at this sad time.

Dear Larry's Family, I loved Larry from the first time I saw him in Miss Newbury's first grade classroom. I was not alone. Everyone loved Larry because he was such a special person. He was our class clown, our cool dude (with his crew cut and black leather jacket), and the sweeted guy in the world! We (the Newton gang) had a special bond throughout our school years. Graduation was probably the last time many of us saw Larry but he was never forgotten. Anytime any of us got together, someone always asked about him. I was fortunate to meet him again at a Warren/Newton football game back in 1996 or 1997 or so. He was still "our Larry". I Know that my memories of him will remain with me forever. You all had the special gift of knowing and loving him in all the years since he left Newton High School in 1970. I know the loss you are feeling as I lost my dad last October to cancer. The pain is still very real but the memories help as they will help you. I am sadden with the loss of an old friend but my saddeness is nothing to compare with your loss. Trust in God to sustain you during this time and keep the memories close. Judy (Adams) Walker
