I will also miss Herman very much.......he was indeed a "good buddie" of mine from way back.......we swapped rides for several years back and forth to the refinery; and he would drop by my house for rap session every now and then....,..Yes. I"m gonna miss "Herman"........and my condolences do go to his family!............

My husband (Tom) and I were Herman and Judy's neighbors (2 doors down on the right) for many years. Herman always had such a sweet and peaceful nature about him and was always ready to leaned a helping hand when he saw someone in need.
My in-laws Tommy and Jean Hamilton who lives just down the street were very good friends with them also. We'd all take boat rides together, had lots of dinners together.
Before we got our lake back he'd let me drive our tractor down his boat ramp to mow down on the lake. He'd say don't bother asking just come on when ya need to...such a sweet man.
My thoughts are with the family. We'll miss him greatly!

On behalf of my mother, Mildred Nicotre, and my brothers, Ronnie and Terry Nicotre, I want to convey our condolences to Mr. Havard's family. My dad, Jack Nicotre, was a former co-worker of his at Gulf Oil in the Tin Shop and he and dad remained good friends. Dad often spoke of his friend "Hermon". Dad also died on June 14, 2008, and I know that they are together again in a better place without pain and suffering. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Dianna Nicotre
