Raleigh Merle Spencer, Jr., 83 of Winnie, died June 12, 2008 at Memorial Hermann Hospital of Houston.
A native of Milton, IL, Raleigh had lived all his life in the Winnie area and was a retired refinery worker.
He is survived by his children, Susan Johnson and her husband, Jack of Winnie, Chester Spencer and his wife, Peggy of Vidor, Raleigh Spencer, III of Winnie; sisters, Juanita Kindle of Anahuac, Joyce Jones and her husband, Larry, LaDelia Glover all of Houston; brothers, Ronald Spencer and his wife Doris, Donald Spencer and his wife, Barbara all of Winnie and four grandchildren.
Cremation is to be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, 5150 Strivers Drive, in Beaumont.
