Dear Jo Ellen, I was flipping through Broussards like I ususally do just to see if anyone has passed that I knew in Beaumont. Uncle Joe, is what, he told me to call him. I was either a minute or he would call me a half/minute. Many good memories from the Howard's next door while growing up. I am very sorry to read of his passing. May you find peace in your heart knowing that Uncle Joe is now with our savor, Jesus Christ. God Bless you and your family, Susan Hoyt

Dearest Jo Ellen, I have such wonderful memories of both your mom and dad when we worked at Manning's Gift Shop on Calder. I was in college and planning a wedding - with your mom's help! So much time has past and so much has changed, but my memories of you in high school and the fun your mom and I had at Manning's are still with me. Your dad always had a smile and a joke for all of us when he would come to pick her up from work or bring her lunch. I know your memories are even more wonderful than mine and I know they will sustain you through the rough days ahead. Please know you are in my prayers - and my memories. May He continue to bless you and your family.
