I'm so sorry to hear about the death of my Aunt Mildred. Although she is absent from her body, she is present with the Lord! How glorious a transformation it is for her in contrast to her last years of living on this Earth. As a child growing up, she was my favorite Aunt. I always admired her, looked up to her, and thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world. I wanted to look and be just like her. I never was blessed with her beauty, but I do have my name to thank her for. (When my parents were trying to think of name for me when I was born, she was the one who suggested "Janna" to them). There are very few folks on my daddy's side of the family (McGee's-Evard's) still living that I know and losing her leaves a void and a family connection. While my daddy was still living, she always talked of a family reunion that we should have...which we never had. Guess that it will have to wait. Because this life is so short, it won't be long until we see her again and we can have that family reunion! Love in Christ, Janna (McGee) Kaelin (Billie McGee's daughter)

So sorry to hear about Mildred. Both she and Horace had many great times with my grandparents in Beaumont and she was truly a joy to be around.
