Nelis Jean “Jr.” Racca, 65, of Winnie, died Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Promise Specialty Hospital in Nederland.
Jr. was a native of Abbeville, Louisiana and a lifetime resident of Winnie.
Jr. is survived by his wife, Karen Racca of Winnie; his daughter, Heather Duran of Baytown; grandson, Josh Duran of Winnie; his mother, Nola Racca of Winnie; sisters, Zula Mott of Bridge City, Earlene Bellot of Port Arthur and Linda Fournier of Groves. He was preceded in death by his father, Nelis Pierre Racca and his brother Curly Racca. Jr. is also survived by his two service monkeys which he considered his children, China nad Andy.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s Crematorium.
