Rodie and I were friends who met at UTMB. I was a unit clerk on the same floor and took Rodie to her car the very first night we met. Over the years we became very good friends, as we both were single and and lived in the same apartment complex. I often visited her at the beach house before she sold it. I had spoken with her shortly before her passing. She told me she was feeling ok and we would speak again soon. She has been on my mind so strongly in the last 3 weeks and I have tried to call and have left messages to no avail. I am just now having the opportunity to look her up on line and have found her obit, much to my surprise and sorrow. My regards go out to your family. Just know your mom was a very fine woman and I am filled with regret that I did not know of her passing until this moment. I wished I could have been there for her.
