Lena S. Broussard, 89, of Port Arthur passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Cypress Glen East Nursing Home in Port Arthur, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 PM, Monday, April 28, 2008 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Nederland with Rev. Dan Malain officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Sunday with a Scriptural Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM at the mortuary.
Mrs. Broussard was a native of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana and lived in Port Arthur for 13 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Broussard Sr., a daughter and 2 grandsons. Lena was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church.
Mrs. Broussard is survived by her daughters, Hilda Arisco and Joe of Beauxart Gardens, Linda Rossi and husband Robert of Beauxart Gardens; sons, Wilbert Earl Broussard and wife Virginia of Pensacola, Florida, Lloyd Anthony Broussard Jr. of Houston, Texas, Richard Edward Broussard and Loretta of New Orleans, Louisiana; Sisters, Lillian Braud of Norco, Louisiana, Hazel Hebert of Port Arthur, Georgia Caillouet of New Sarpy, Louisiana; 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
