Christopher Lewis Russell was born in Baytown, Texas on June 13, 1983 to Lewis (L.Z.) Russell and Bobbie Stone Russell. He was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. He was a 2002 graduate of Gulf Coast High School. Chris attended ITT Technical Institute majoring in computer engineering.
Chris enjoyed playing basketball and had a soft heart for children and the elderly. He was preceded in death by his father, L.Z. Russell and his godfather, Nathan Dabney.
He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Jayvan Christopher Russell; mother, Bobbie Stone Russell; brother, Timothy L. Russell all of Anahuac; sister, Charlene Russell LeDay of Winnie; grandmother, Flora Cox of Dadeville, Alabama; nephews, Jonathan Russell Jennings and LaDarius LeDay of Winnie, Pierre Russell and Myqul Russell, nieces, Ajante Russell and Zsanee Russell all of Anahuac, Ashley Russell of Baytown; sister-in-law, Sonya Denise Russell of Anahuac; brother-in-law Charles Ray LeDay of Winnie; Special & dear friend, Sheena Moore; godmother, Nancey Dabney of Anahuac; godparents, Johnny & Faye Coleman of Baytown and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
