John Earl Leonard, 69, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont.
A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, Mr. Leonard retired from Hughes Security.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Leonard of Beaumont; son, Kendall Leonard of Nederland; daughter, Candace Washburn and her husband James of Humble; brother, Roy Leonard of Nederland; sister, Velma Jean Watson of Houma, Louisiana; four grandchildren, Kirk Leonard, Connor Washburn, Hannah Washburn and Nash Leonard.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2008 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday April 16, 2008 at the Mortuary.
