Mr. Wilson was one of the sweetest men I have known. I could be having the most horrible day at work and he would call and sing me a song, or tell me a joke to make me laugh. He told me stories of how happy he was when his wife was living, and how very sad and lonely he was without her. We had many discussions about Heaven and how wonderful it would be when he was with his loving wife again. I got to spend one afternoon with Mr. Wilson before he got so ill. He showed me his many birds and of course his loving companion "Tiny". We talked of our love of art and he showed me his many beautiful paintings. There was only one person he loved and cherished almost as much as his wife....and that was Melanie....he called her "his kid" and he told me many times of how much he loved her and her family. He said he could not have survived without her. I will truly miss the times I talked to him on the phone at the law firm and I feel blessed to have known him, even if for a very short time. Dance with your wife for me Mr. Wilson, and laugh with Jesus. I love you. Shirley Stagg

My Dearest Friend. I am going to miss you so much. You were such a blessing to alot of people. I know that you are very happy now with your wife in Heaven. I sure missed you when I left Neches FCU. I have thought about you so much and wondered how you were doing. I will always love you as my dear friend. Melanie and Ricky, I am so sorry for your great loss. Know that he is better off with his loving wife. We are thinking and praying for you. Ida Brevell.
