Stanford Dailey, 83, of Stowell died January 28, 2004 at his residence.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 31.2004 at Broussard’s Chapel, 134 West Buccaneer, Winnie with burial in Fairview Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born in Galveston, Texas, he lived in Stowell for thirty-three years and was a retired Pipe Fitter for Local 195. Mr. Dailey was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Winnie-Stowell.
Preceded in death by his son, Ralph W. "Scooter" Dailey, he is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Betty Jo Dailey of Stowell; daughters, Barbara Griggs and Darla Dailey both of Beaumont; brother, Curtis Dailey of Winnie; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
