Mary Olga "Meg" Baker, 84, of Beaumont, died April 6, 2008 at The Clairmont. She was born on March 24, 1924 in Port Neches, Texas.
She is survived by her son, James Reed Baker and his wife Sharon and granddaughter Tate of Tampa, Florida; sisters, Rita Ann Varner and her husband Lynn of Beaumont and Laura Walla and her husband Leonard of Pasadena.
Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse J. Baker of Beaumont; brothers Herbert O. Parks, Clarence A. Parks, George A. Parks and John A. Parks.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive with burial to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A Christian Vigil will be Tuesday evening, April 8, 2008 at 6:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
