Alice G. Greene, 85, of Beaumont died March 31, 2008 at Harbor Hospice. A native of High Pointe, Louisiana and a resident of the area since 1949, she was a self employed beautician.
Alice is survived by her son, Jerry Greene of Beaumont; daughter, Trudy Berdorf and her husband John of Beaumont; sisters, Jean Winn of Oakdale, Louisiana, Frankie Dyer of Lake Charles, Louisiana; and two grandchildren, Brittany and Dillon Greene. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald H. Greene, Sr.; and her brother, Curry Jordan.
Funeral services will be 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive. A gathering of family and friends will begin 5:00 P.M. Wednesday evening prior to the service at the mortuary. Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Rest Haven Cemetery in Oakdale, Louisiana.
