Helen Ford Willis, 86, of Nederland passed away Sunday, March 23, 2008 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Facility in Groves.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Rev. Frank Hodges officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland.
Mrs. Willis was a native of Mansfield, Louisiana and lived in the Beaumont area for over forty years before moving to Nederland in 1985. She was and avid gardener who enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and had a great appreciation for her extended family at Hotel Beaumont.
Mrs. Willis is survived by her daughter, Kristin Boozer and her husband Sandy of Nederland; her brother, Joe Ford and his wife Christine of Osage City, Kansas; brother-in-law, V.A. Cain of Hemphill; two grandchildren, Cory and Shannon Boozer and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
