Hubert George “Stix” Linder, 80, of Wildwood died Sunday, July 4, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 8, at Wildwood-Village Mills First United Methodist Church under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
A lifelong resident of the Beaumont area, he retired as the Assistant Manager of the BPM Club. He was also a drummer who had enjoyed playing Big Band music with various bands across the nation.
He is survived by his son, Keith Lane Linder and his fiance’, Melanie Burnside and her children, R. C. Burnside and Amber Burnside; sister, Frances; sister-in-law, Nancy Cannon and her husband, Billy of Beaumont; and several nieces and nephews.
