Eileen “Tip” Pelt, 91, of Sour Lake died Monday, March 17, 2008 at her residence. A resident of Sour Lake for seventy years, Tip was born December 26, 1916 in Hephzibah, Pennsylvania to Thomas and Evangeline (Wertz) Brown.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Pelt and her sister, Fran Warren.
Tip is survived by her brother-in-law, Floyd Warren; and her caregivers, Robert and Dorothy DeMary, Danny and Shirley Coburn and their children Ginger, David, and Whitney, and Robert and Dora Wheeler.
Graveside service will be 5:00 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2008 at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Sour Lake with Reverend Ken Ellzey officiating under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze. A gathering of family and friends will be prior to the graveside service, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., at the mortuary.
