Wanda Sue Collins, 71, of Nederland, died Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Mr. David Echols officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00 – 8:00 PM, Wednesday at the mortuary. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Union Grove Cemetery in Miller County, Arkansas under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland.
Mrs. Collins was born in Lufkin, Texas and moved to Beaumont in the 1940’s then moved to Nederland in 1958. She was a homemaker and a member of the Groves Church of Christ.
Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Tess Willis. She is survived by her Husband, Thomas J. Collins; one son, Gary W. Collins and his wife Connie of Nederland; one daughter, Michelle Kennedy and her husband Kyle of San Antonio; one sister, LaVerne Taggart and her husband Charles of Kountze; three grandchildren, Kaitlyn Kennedy, Cody Phelps, and Corey Phelps.
