Doris Oleta Merryman, 79, of Winnie died February 13, 2004 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 16, 2004 at Broussard’s Chapel, 134 West Buccaneer, Winnie. Interment will be 4:00 p.m. in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Franklin, TX. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening, February 15, 2004 at the funeral home.
Born in Franklin, Texas, she lived in Winnie for forty-four years and was a retired clerk in the retail pharmacy industry.
Preceded in death by her husband, Oscar C. "Collie" Merryman and sister, Ramona Corn and is survived by her daughter, Norma Jean Revia and husband, Darvin of Winnie; son, Don Merryman and wife, Rachelle of Vidor; sisters, Alleen Perkins and Billie Meadows both of Franklin; sister-in-law, Mabel Morel of Duncanville, Texas; several nieces and nephews; four grandchildren and one great grandchild
