Ernest Wayne Massey, 83, of Beaumont, died Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont.
A native of McKinney, Texas and resident of Beaumont for over twenty-five years, Mr. Massey was a retired supervisor with Fort Bend County Clerks Office in Rosenberg. He was a United States Army veteran having served in World War II as a bugler.
Survivors include his daughter, Kae Whitman of Vidor; son, Terry Wayne Massey and his wife Patti of Chattanooga, Tennessee; grandchildren, Alicia Whitman, Brian Whitman, T.J. Massey and Lisa Massey; and one great grandson, Ryan Massey.
A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at the Mortuary.
