Helen Leann Wetherington, 65, of Beauxart Gardens passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, February 19, 2008, at Medical Center Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 22, 2008 in the chapel of Broussard’s in Nederland. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens in Nederland. A gathering of the family and friends will be from 5:00pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday at the mortuary.
Leann was a native of Little Rock, Arkansas and lived in Beauxart Gardens for the last two years. She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Wetherington. She loved baking, Game shows, playing bingo and the Lotto.
Ms. Wetherington is survived by her daughters, Susan Puz and husband John of Beauxart Gardens, Shawna Wetherington and Vincent Solis of Round Rock, Texas; grandchildren, Steven Puz, Colby Puz both of Beauxart Gardens, and Joshua Solis of Round Rock; and a host of other relatives and friends.
