Agnes Miller “MUM” Ramoin, 83 years, passed away Monday, July 5, 2004 at her residence in Nederland. Agnes was born in Mowata, Louisiana on October 7, 1920. She had been a resident of the Nederland for the past fifty-two years, and was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2004 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with Reverend Dan Malain presiding. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens in Nederland. Pallbearers will be Jared Ramoin, John Ramoin, Keith Ramoin, Cody Broussard, Charles Lavine, James Lavine, Walter Lavine, and Joseph Ramoin.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland, with a Rosary recited at 7:00 pm.
Survivors include her two sons, Clayton Ramoin and wife, Robbie of Arlington, TX and Leonard Ramoin and wife, Priscilla of Nederland; one daughter, Theresa Lavine and husband, Jerry of Ft. Worth; eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
