Georgia Mae Dear Parsons, 80, of Woodville died Friday, February 1, 2008 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, surrounded by her loving family. Georgia was born on June 4, 1927 in Dallas, Texas to Haskell Edward and Ima Loretta (George) Dear. A proud homemaker, Georgia had lived in Woodville for twenty-five years.
Georgia is survived by her children, Thomas Thornton, Regina Summerlin, and Norma Armstrong all of Woodville, and George Parsons of Winamucca, Nevada; sisters, Barbara Collins of Leesburg, Texas and Delores Bell of Jacksonville, Texas; grandchildren, Chelsey Thornton, Hope Turner, Chris Brown, Angie Collins, Tracy Thornton, Dana Hutto, David Summerlin, Jr., Daniel Summerlin, Jennifer Kelley, Tabitha Armstrong, Christian Parsons and Logan Parsons; thirteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze.
